The aim of the present study was to investigate academic optimism, academic identity and academic vitality as predictors of school well-being (interest in school, perceived academic self-efficacy and destructive behaviors) in high school male students in Izeh. The study is descriptive and correlational. The statistical population of this study consists of all male high school students in Izeh city, from which 300 students were selected by multi-stage random sampling. Data was collected using questionnaires/scales of academic optimism, academic identity, academic vitality and well-being and was analyzed using Canonical correlation coefficient and regression analysis. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between academic optimism (Hui & Hui, 2010), academic identity (Woodruff, 2003) and academic vitality (Martin & Marsh, 2006) (r = 0.46 and p≤ 0.01). The results of stepwise regression analysis showed that the changes in the prediction of academic optimism and academic vitality explain 16.70% of school well-being.
