Abstract
The purpose of present study was to prediction of psychological well-being based on resilience and perceived social support in mothers of children with intellectual disability (Slow paced). This research was of correlational type and the statistical population included all mothers of children with intellectual disability in Isfahan city, of which 70 people were selected by a simple random sampling method. The research instruments included the Psychologıcal Well-beıng scale (PWBS), Resilience Scale (RS) and Perceived Social Support Scale (PSSS). Data were analyzed by stepwise regression analysis method. The findings showed that resilience, perceived social support, support from family and important people in life have a positive and significant relationship with psychological well-being. Resilience, support from family, perceived social support and support from important people in life could predict 43% of the variance of psychological well-being and resilience had the most roles in predicting psychological well-being. The results are due to the importance of resilience and perceived social support variables in predicting psychological well-being in mothers of children with intellectual disability (Slow paced). Therefore ‌paying attention to the variables such as resilience and perceived social support have effective role in predicting psychological well-being.
